Rock in Rio Lisboa 2016 the Boss and Adele

Yesterday was the first day of Rock in Rio Lisboa 2016 .

And we had The Boss among us , yes Bruce Springsteen gave a great show .

And guess who was singing along with The Boss ?

Adele , the one and only . Adele is among us and she was relaxing and enjoying a good show before performing for us tomorrow .

Her two concerts in MeoArena tomorrow and Sunday are sold out (that’s why I’m not going , not because my budget doesn’t allow for live concerts , you know 😉  )

Tonight in Rock in Rio we will sing and dance to Queen with Adam Lambert .

Then we’ll have Maroon 5 on the 28th , and on the 29th Aviici , Ariana Grande , Charlie Puth   , among many others , including electronic music , pool parties and lots of fun .

Although I am not there , there’s this TV station Sic Radical  who is broadcasting live all the time , so I get to peek in here and there .

And thus started the Summer Music Festivals in my little corner of the world .

Wishing you a good weekend filled with music (if that’s your liking 😉  )

  1. Lisbon, The Boss (I saw and heard him many years ago in Berlin – incredible) Adele private, what else can one want? Btw. Love Lisbon (especially The Castle and the Alfama District) very very much. Hope to be there next year in June for the Feast of San Antonio.😇

      1. Ah! so you will not see much change I guess 🙂
Alfama and dining outside will be waiting for you next June or whenever you can make it 🙂

    1. They were all very very good 🙂
Rock in Rio returns to Lisbon in 2018 😉 if you find yourself around here 🙂
We have lots of summer music festivals around here and some of them have quite a few good bands (if you don’t mind the youngsters crowds 😉 and the dust and the heat …but it all makes part I guess 🙂 )

      1. Sadly, it’s unlikely I’ll be in Lisbon at the time, but who knows? I did visit Oporto about 25 years ago and thought it was one of the most beautiful and interesting places I’d ever seen, so a return visit to Portugal would be very welcome. 🙂

      2. Glad you liked Oporto 🙂
I understand it might even more beautiful now 25 years later , as its been a little cleaned up without losing its charm 😉
We never know whatsurprises life brings us 🙂 so you may find yourself around here sometime 🙂

      3. Very interesting to hear that Oporto’s been cleaned up a little. It was a charming place already, so it must be wonderful now.

Sadly, I missed the chance to see Lisbon, although I’ve heard from many people that it’s a very beautiful city. If I’m ever in Portugal again, I’ll definitely visit it. 🙂

    1. Yesterday’s night was very good .
Although I’m here , I’m not there (at the festival I mean) … but I listened to some concerts on the radio and then Queen show I watched livestream on the TV (very very good and the broadcasting was awesome , so almost … just almost as being really there 😉 )
      Wishing you a great weekend

      1. Without the dust , and the sweating neighbours , and the port-a-holes 😉
We loose some of the atmosphere and the human energy , but the sound and the sights and the comfort are definitely better 🙂

  2. A great lineup of concerts! I missed The Boss’ show when he was in my city a few months ago. I have never seen him live and would love to. With recently losing David Bowie, Prince, and others, I feel the need to get going on this bucket list of mind!
