In my Ocean of Blogs there are many beautiful islands.
Today I would like to invite you to visit My Writing Island
In my very first posts I mentioned that English is not my native language and that I believe that in order to be writing a blog I should learn how to write well .
It is only natural then that I am drawn to writer’s blogs . I love to see the way they are able to transport us to another time and place and tell a whole story just by the clever use of a few well chosen words .
Although luckily I do understand almost everything I read , and the vocabulary in my head is quite big , I do have the shortcomings of those who only read and do not write or engage in conversations in a second language . Being the most noticeable one the reduced amount of words I tend to use.
Fellow bloggers to the rescue , and below you will find some of the ones I am reading and enjoying learning with
Nicola Auckland @ Sometimes Stellar Storyteller for her short stories , advice on writing, and her Six Word Story Challenge
Kat Myrman @ Like Mercury Colliding new stories everyday including challenges , poetry , and haikus
Karen Hampton @ Writing , Oh My ! a published writer working on her 4th book
D.S.McKnight @ D.S.McKnight with several books published on young adult fiction
Lane William Brown @ The Writerly Blog of Lane William Brown with excerpts from the novel , reviews , and advice on writing
TheLonelyAuthor @ The Lonely Author a published writer of science fiction and thriller genre writes a blog full of humor
Kristi Simpson @ Writerish Ramblings great stories , and a series on Random Writing Tips
Maid’sDayOff @ Maid’sDayOff stories by a language and grammar lover and a special Write Right Monday Night
Marquessa Matthews @ Simply Marquessa a writer at heart is how she describes herself
Sarah Doughty @ Heartstring Eulogies – I just discovered this girl , and boy can she write
The above mentioned blogs are in no particular order , and I expect to add to this list sooner than later ( but you know me by now … it is usually later ) .

I am so sorry for the delay in responding. As you know I’ve been busy learning how to do videos and posting them and I have gotten behind in my blog reading. Thank you so much for the kindness of adding me to your list of blogs you follow. I appreciate that so much. And I do hope to get and keep more current if staying up with the rest of you.
