Blogging 101 Day Three

Day Three: Say Hello to the Neighbors

Today’s assignment: follow five new tags in the Reader and five new blogs.

This was a good “lesson” to do , as I was ordered to visit and read. Yes ! Give me more of these lessons 🙂

You see , from the first time I started my blogging attempts I have spent a lot (a LOT) more time reading other people’s blogs than working on my own. This is really what I like to do.

Sure, I do want to write and build up my blog to what I imagined it would become, but I like to read so much that I have to exercise some discipline (and I am very lacking in that department) to pull myself away and get to work here.

So , today  (actually last night)  I went into my Reader and tried to understand how it works . I never used it because I prefer to read the blogs I follow directly from my e-mail box – somehow it just works better for me that way – and I found out that some of the blogs that I thought I was following were not being directed to e-mail and that is why I had been missing some of you beautiful people. Boy I do need some lessons in how to write , these sentences go on and on 😦 . I do hope you can make sense out of them .

And that gave me just another excuse to read and read , but I still have a lot of catching up to do.

But I did add five new tags to my Reader :

• Portugal Travel – because I want to see what’s out there 
• Robbie Williams – because (ah! you know if you read me)
• RV Living – because I would like to travel the country in one 
• Surf – because I dream about the day I can get myself out there
• Watercolouring – because I have been seeing beautiful works and would like to learn it

But I will need a few more hours of reading you know 😉 before I can share my new follows.

I will share them with you as soon as I can ( but they will show on my sidebar ,  I believe the new follows come on top of the grid ) in another post if I don’t get sidetracked , which also happens a lot around here.

And now I will pat myself in the back because at least half of today’s assignment is done and I am only one day late (oh no! it’s after midnight now here and Day 5 has arrived already 😦
