A list of some of the things I like

And here we are on the 2nd day of Writing101 with an invitation to make a list , for which I chose :

15 things that I like, very much

  • I like to stay up all night
  • And I like waking up very early and enjoy the freshness and newness of a bright summer day
  • I like to swim (preferably in the sea)
  • I like the smell of freshly cut grass
  • I like coffee , and coffee with chocolate even better
  • I like dogs, and cats (most of them anyway) , and horses
  • I like to plan and organize
  • I like the smell of the sea and sand that clings to the beach towels (and I’ve been known to postpone their washing so I can take a sniff here and there and pretend I am at the beach)
  • I like to immerse myself in a new book and read it in two days sending everything else around me into oblivion
  • I like to think that one day I will be a surfer , a writer , and a great grandmother
  • I like to be able to understand other languages
  • I like to see people happy and if I somehow contributed to that even better
  • I like to sleep and I like my dreams
  • I like to believe that everyone has a special talent or a gift
  • I like Music

And this is me, in a nutshell.

    1. Thank you Onetta ! You catched it, totally missed it (should be sleeping probably).Should I change it for consistency or just leave it for idiomatic accuracy – is that the way to say it???Turtle Hugs

    1. Ah!Megan, no I still have not found the way to be both, and I am mostly night owl, but once in a while I enjoy being a morning bird , but it has to happen after a series of regular nights 😉 And yes I need a lot of sleep 🙂

      1. I’m a night owl too, but I also like to get up early just because I get so much more done. Sadly, I haven’t found a way to be both. 😦 Maybe I could just sleep all afternoon…hey, there’s an idea. 😉

      2. I do like it when it is cooler outside.
        Then I can have the windows opened. Usually after Danny leaves for work I take long walks. Since I live in Florida, I don’t get out much in the summertime. I do love to look outside and watch the sun come up.The birds start singing. The world comes alive.

      3. I live in the south too…and there is no going outside in the summer unless you want to feel (and maybe look) like a piece of burnt bacon.
        I love when the weather is cool enough to start opening windows. The air is so refreshing! That being said…I can’t wait until Fall!

      4. ME to although winter is even better….Except for one thing. Spring follows. it is a never ending cycle. LOL
        I love having the windows open. There aren’t enough days I can do this.
        Danny gets cold easily. In the 70’s sometime. He will have a small heater on and I am wanting windows opened or the AC on.

  7. This is a great list!! I am leaving my beach towels in the Jeep after this past weekend! I will be happily smelling the beach on the way to work 🙂

    Staying up all night is fun! Especially with a best friend or significant other! Beautiful list 🙂
